The tapestry, usually exhibited at the Vatican Museums, measuring 493 x 440 cm, can be admired next to the tapestry (400 x 492 cm) with the same subject and made by the same Raphaelesque cardboard that is permanently preserved in the Loreto Museum "Sala Lotto", which houses the seven paintings by Lorenzo Lotto once inside the choir of the Basilica of Loreto and now re-proposed for the first time according to the disposition handed down from the sources. For the great altarpiece of the struggle with "San Cristoforo, Bambino, San Rocco and San Sebastiano" a new location is planned for July 25, the day on which the Catholic Church celebrates the Saint "ferryman", protector of all those who are busy with the transport.The Pontifical Santa Casa Museum covers an area of 2000 square meters, for a total of 30 exhibition rooms. The furniture of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, which adorn the halls of the first floor, in the past constituted the original furnishings of the Palace.
It is located on the upper floors of the western arm of the Apostolic Palace, which is articulated on the left and in front of the Basilica, in Piazza della Madonna, characterized by an imposing portico and by a loggia above it in white Istrian stone, of Doric order. on the ground floor and Ionic on the upper floor.
