Castelfidardo is today the capital of music classical and popular thanks to "its" accordion. The PIF was born as a springboard for young people and it is in this dimension that it intends to grow further confirming its role as a vehicle for the promotion of the accordion instrument for all generations and all musical genres. In this philosophy it must be the introduction of new categories such as world music and the presence of a jury of undisputed quality which may have a role as a talent scout.
