Description

An Itinerary between History and Craftsmanship in Ancona with an expert Tourist Guide to discover the hidden beauties of the city. We will start from the Duomo, the Cathedral of San Ciriaco which stands on the top of the Guasco hill. There are numerous mysteries that the cathedral hides. After visiting the Duomo, the route will continue towards the Roman amphitheater, located between the Guasco and Cappuccini hills and then towards Piazza del Senato, the Palazzo degli "Elders" and the Church of "San Francesco delle Scale", one of the most famous in Ancona. We will visit the "Pellicceria Lucilla" workshop, and the workshop of the Master Goldsmith, Mauro Caraffa. Two historic artisans belonging to the La Via Maestra circuit, which contains within it the excellences of Artistic Craftsmanship of the Provinces of Ancona and Pesaro and Urbino. The itinerary will then end with an Aperitif at the Port of Ancona at "La Locanda del Porto ex Bitta", a typical and charming restaurant.
