House Artist's Museum

The Atelier Chambre is a small architectural jewel in the heart of the City of Castelfidardo, an artist's house where elements of the Mediterranean culture flow into an unexpected atmosphere of balance and harmony that will amaze the visitor. A museum house where you can immerse yourself in materials and visions, where you can touch contemporary works of art, where you can look out over the large square called Porta Marina and breathe in the fantastic view that can be enjoyed from the two balconies suspended over the city walls. Opposite is the famous National Monument of Marche dedicated to the Battle of Castelfidardo. And the horizon opens up to us from North to South passing through Camerano, Sirolo, Loreto and obviously the Monte Conero with all its Riviera visible in a scenographic way.
To reach the Atelier Chambre you have to enter from the main door, an arch recognizable by the large white clock, called Porta Vittoria with access right from the square of Porta Marina. Once past the arch, you enter the historic center and, turning left, you have to go up Via Garibaldi until you reach the square of the same name where in 1889 Paolo Soprani opened the first organetto workshop. We are exactly in the Terziero del Cassero or del Castronetto, the highest point of the village unmistakable for the presence of a 1924 Aqueduct Tower. This is the place that many recognize as one of the most characteristic of the town, suggestive and unique in its genre with the gallery of the houses that looks like a theatrical backdrop with the relative stage.
The Atelier Chambre is located at nr. 61 and upon entering one immediately has the feeling of envelopment, of having opened a casket and having discovered a muffled treasure. Unexpected are the environments that intersect on various levels, from the loft to the stairs, from the walls to the floor; the renovation work on the original old shop raised the value and the charm of the materials used, giving a creative look to the entire building. You cannot remain indifferent: everything is coherent and with the works everywhere on the walls and on the work table you notice a character that you can hardly forget. To see absolutely to know an intimate part of the City, a place where past and present are inextricably linked to give a strong experience of enrichment and culture to anyone who visits Castelfidardo.
