BETWEEN WATER AND SAND
Conero in rain
On the Conero coast, you will never get bored… even in case of pouring rain!
Whether in summer or in winter the sea has got its own special charm, but when the clouds are rolling in it’s time to go for art and culture, within churches, museums, theatres and ancient medieval villages.
A rainy day it’s the perfect chance to discover some beautiful churches on the Conero Coastline, like the Basilica of Loreto or the Cathedral of San Ciriaco in Ancona.
Not to forget , the National Archeological Museum of Marche or a tour in the Camerano and Osimo Caves.
We are the land of Rosso Conero, so a tour in one of the many wine cellar of the zone is a must-see. A classic atmosphere in an enchanting landscape is waiting for you, with excellent tastes… Km 0 products, precious oil, honey, milk or meat that you can also buy directly from the local producers.
And if the sun is not inclined to shine, our suggestion is to spend some hours within the many outlet of the Coast, in search of the local handicraft.
And last but not least, less then 60 km far away from Ancona, Frasassi Caves represent a suggestive attraction every day of the year, with a 1h15m walk accessible for everyone.
