The Ghergo Museum has found its ideal location in the Palazzo dei Priori in Montefano, on the ground floor, under the splendid loggia overlooking the heart of the town, Piazza Bracaccini, in the building that was once the Town Hall.
After an intense renovation work by the Municipality, the rooms - large and bright - now house many works by Arturo Ghergo and some of his precious work tools: a path of work and life, collected in two rooms, the Sala Ghergo and the Council Chamber.
The structure is completed by a third room intended to host exhibitions, workshops, meetings and lectio magistralis by the many great photographers who gravitate around the Ghergo Effect Association. A Permanent Exhibition Space, the pride of regional and national photography.
At the entrance, next to the ticket office and the bookshop, there is an intimate place where you can enter the professional and private life of the great Arturo Ghergo through the screening of a documentary film made by director Pasquale Pozzessere.
The Ghergo Museum is open from Friday to Sunday at the following times:
