Orto sul Colle dell'Infinito
Description
A few steps from the house of Giacomo Leopardi, the Infinite Hill is the garden of an ancient monastery and the site where Leopardi set his famous poem "The Infinite" in 1819. Following a long restorantion of FAI, thanks also to the special contribution of Marche Region, it is possible to stroll around and take a seat in this place enjoing a unique beautiful view on the region landscape. The vegetable garden is the end-point of what amounts to a "guided tour" inside the poem - a tour that invites the visitor, through immersive projections and engaging experiences, to rediscover the meaning of the few short lines, masterpieces of Italian Culture.A few steps from the house of Giacomo Leopardi, the Infinite Hill is the garden of an ancient monastery and the site where Leopardi set his famous poem "The Infinite" in 1819.
