Civic Tower, Palazzo del Podestà and Piazza Matteotti
The square is overlooked by: the Palazzo del Podestà, the Civic Tower, the Town Hall, the Theatre and the palazzi of some of the most influential families of the past.
Of fourteenth-century origin, largely renovated in the 18th century (when the Ghibelline battlements were added), and in the early nineteenth century.
The Mugellini Theater is a small "bonbonnière" theater, just 99 seats, set in the town hall. Dating back to the end of the 19th century, it is named after the country's native pianist Bruno Mugellini.
Medieval in style, rebuilt in the 17th century.
