Private Tour on a Traditional Sailboat
Your experience in short
Description
Sail away from the crowds
My name is Fabio and I invite you aboard the DonMar for an exclusive sailing experience, a private tour that suits your wants and needs.
A tour tailored just for you
Before departing Numana, we will discuss your favorite destination, and how to structure your boat tour. Want to stop at the first beach and spend the whole time swimming or sunbathing? No problem. Would you prefer to go as far as possible to the Beam and back? Or perhaps you'd like to head straight to the open sea and sail in search of dolphins? That is also possible.
Choose your travel companions
Want to charter the boat for a romantic getaway, or a marriage proposal, with just you and your partner as passengers? I'll make sure to have the best Prosecco in the on-board refrigerator. Family trip with your children? I'll be sure to stock up on juices! A whole day at sea with your best friends? Write to me, anything is possible.
History and tradition
During the cruise I will point out to you the special scenic features of the Conero Riviera, and we will have a chance to talk about the long and rich history of this stretch of coastline. I also have a collection of vintage photographs and postcards on board, to immerse you in the Conero's seafaring tradition to the fullest.
It's the details that make a difference
My concern is to make your trip on the DonMar a memorable experience. The little things, like a sunset drink or a personalized playlist, will make all the difference.
Curiosity
Built in 1968 in Numana's historic Jurini shipyard, the DonMar is the oldest sailboat left in Numana harbor, wholly made of wood.If you wish, you can experience the thrill of piloting a sailboat with a traditional vela al terzo by trying your hand at the helm.
Path
Your private tour of the Conero Rivera will begin at the port of Numana.
We will board the DonMar and head north, past the beautiful beaches of Numana and Sirolo, then round Monte Conero, to the pebble beaches of the Due Sorelle and the rugged and inaccessible coastline (including the wonderful Gabbiani e dei Forni beach) that lies between the Due Sorelle and the Faraglione della Vela: the wildest and most fascinating part of the Conero Riviera.
We will then arrive at the bay of Portonovo, with the Romanesque church of Santa Maria in Portonovo, the Napoleonic fort, the beach of Mezzavalle and the rock of Il Trave.
You choose where to drop anchor and where to swim!

Advice
Sunglasses, hat, and a towel is all you will need on board. If you'd like to snorkel there are masks and snorkels available for guests.Timetables
The DonMar can accommodate up to 6 passengers, always ensuring an intimate and exclusive atmosphere.
The tour takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes, with two departures: one in the morning (10:00 am) and one in the afternoon (4:00 pm).
