“Mezzavalle” and “Il Trave” beaches
For true lovers of the sea and for those who dream of a more adventurous day the ideal beach is Mezzavalle, a bay completely immersed in the Conero Park between Ancona and Portonovo, here is a corner particularly loved by the Ancona area: the Trave, a rocky tongue that stretches into the sea, Monte Conero diving vertically into the sea, then continues for at least a kilometer inside the waters of the Adriatic as a natural quay.
Currently it is not allowed to access the Trave beach due to landslide risk.
Rocky, Mezzavalle has a bar/restaurant but no establishments. The area of Trave is instead completely wild.
The stretch to Mezzavalle is suitable for everyone (we recommend sportswear and long trousers), the journey to the beam instead is recommended to a more adult and with suitable shoes (no slippers and flip flops).
You can park near the only road to Mezzavalle or in the maxi parking lot near the traffic circle of Portonovo and then reach the path on foot.
