Portonovo beach
Portonovo is also known as the “Baia Verde” (Green Bay) thanks to its location surrounded by the green of the Conero Regional Park and away from busy roads. Picturesque natural landscapes, a crystal clear blue sea, and a beautiful beach make the bay the ideal destination for a relaxing and unforgettable holiday.
Along the Portonovo beach there are many restaurants where you can taste a variety of fresh fish dishes such as local mussels, called “moscioli”.
The bay alternates stretches of public beaches and well-equipped bathing establishments that can be easily reached by car or by bus.
Thanks to a network of hiking trails, you can explore the surrounding vegetation and discover the wildlife ponds, the eighteenth-century watchtower “Torre Clementina”, and the Romanesque “Santa Maria di Portonovo” church.

Otherwise you can go down to the beach with your own means and park directly in one of the various car parks on the coast (public and private).
