“San Michele” and “Sassi Neri” Beaches

Completely immersed in the nature of Conero Regional Park, “San Michele” is a beautiful beach in Sirolo that you can easily reach by foot through hiking paths or by shuttle bus. 

Crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches and well-equipped bathing establishments make this place the ideal destination for a relaxing holiday.

Walking northwards, you can reach the “Sassi Neri” beach, which gets its name from the dark rocks on its seabed.

TYPE OF BEACH: gravelly sand.  Along the beach, there are both beach establishments and stretches of public beaches.

SUITABLE FOR: anyone. 

SPECIAL FEATURES: when the sea is calm, you can walk up to the “Urbani” beach

HOW TO REACH THE BEACH: on foot from Sirolo, follow the main road from the “Parco della Repubblica” park to the panoramic point where you can see the “Sassi Neri” beach, then follow the unpaved path with a fence which leads you down to the beach. It can also be reached by car. During the summer the road is closed but a shuttle bus service from the Sirolo town hall is available.

WHERE TO PARK: there is a parking lot just above the beach as well as both free and paid parking in the Sirolo town hall area.
