Villa Centofinestre - Filottrano
Eighteenth-century villa built as the country residence of the Marquis Accoretti
Eighteenth-century villa built as the country residence of the Marquis Accoretti. Centofinestre was then enlarged by the architect Pietro Ghinelli, a well-known exponent of Vanvitelli in the Marche region. The wall decorations recall Neoclassical motifs with Pompeian scenes, following the echo of the then-recent Pompeii excavations.
The villa is surrounded by a large park with swimming pools, mechanical games, tea rooms, porticoes, game rooms, greenhouses and groves, and is now used for ceremonies and events.
